Hill Country Blue Four
Virtual Concert

Check back for rescheduled date soon!

Hill Country Blue Four

The Austin Jazz Society, our fellow Austin jazz purveyor, will livestream a performance by the Hill Country Blue Four, at a rescheduled time due to the recent weather interruptions. This will be led by David Jellema on cornet and clarinet, David is a marvelous performer on both instruments, and has been a mainstay of the Austin traditional jazz scene for a number of years. He will be joined by Mark Gonzalez on trombone, Jamey Cummins on guitar and Ryan Gould on string bass.

We hope you will take the opportunity to support our local jazz musicians through these live streaming events (pretend you are paying a door fee and/or adding to the tip jar). All donations exceeding the Austin Jazz Society-guaranteed compensation for the musicians performing will go to our “Project Safety Net” fund, an emergency grant program for Austin’s most financially vulnerable jazz musicians who have lost significant income due to COVID – 19.

I hope you will tune in and enjoy the performance. This is a way to keep traditional jazz alive until we can resume live in-person concerts again.
